Online basketball betting handicappers are disappointed in the results of the Milwaukee Bucks as they are looking less likely to return to the betting basketball playoffs after a surprise appearance last year.
The Milwaukee Bucks will host the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night with a start time of 8:30 PM ET. Be sure and have your Sports Gambling account open and ready for side and total action on this rivalry matchup.
Chicago had a stranglehold on the Central Division with a record of 38-16 straight up and 32-20-2 with the NBA betting odds. They were far and away the only team with a winning record in the Central Division. The Bulls paid out in 14 of their 25 away games and went under the total in 14 of those road games.
Chicago’s rise to prominence is based on a defense that ranked 2nd in the NBA for points allowed. The offense ranked 18th in the league for scoring offense. Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 24.9 points and 8.2 assists per game. One point of concern for Chicago has been center Joakim Noah, who has been in questionable status with a thumb injury.
Milwaukee was a surprise playoff team last year as they played a hard working style that emphasized defense. The defense is still good for the Bucks as they ranked 3rd in the league for points allowed but the offense has been a severe drag and ranked 30th for scoring. Milwaukee had a record of 21-34 straight up and 25-28-2 with the NBA sports betting line.
The Bucks went under the total in 34 of 55 games and at home were 8-18 under the total. Milwaukee paid out in just 11 of their 26 home games. The season has been a major disappointment as the Central Division has proven to be especially weak and a playoff spot would be available to even a decent .500 team.
To illustrate the Bucks problems their leading scorer was Corey Maggette who was averaging just 13.2 points per game. The loss of Michael Redd until March is yet another of the many online basketball betting problems for the Bucks and Andrew Bogut is proving to be a mediocre center.
