Online Basketball Betting: San Antonio Spurs vs. Portland Trailblazers

Online basketball betting has one of the most attractive matchups in the western conference this NBA betting season from Portland.

Online basketball betting handicappers face a great challenge with the Spurs and Trailblazers game as both teams are in the thick of the race for the NBA betting post season.  The San Antonio Spurs are in their usual online basketball betting perch atop of the southwest division.

Lately, the Spurs have been one of the hottest teams in all of NBA betting.  San Antonio had an overall online basketball betting record of 36-17 straight up and 26-25-2 against the NBA betting lines.

From January 27 through February 19 the Spurs went on a nice online basketball betting stretch in which they got the cash in 8 out of 10 games for their best value of the season so far.  In that same 10 game span they also went on an online basketball betting over/under run in which they went under the total in just 2 of those 10 games.

San Antonio has been a solid online basketball betting road team as they were 16-11-1 against the spread.  The Spurs were also a solid NBA betting dog with a mark of 9-6 against the number.  San Antonio’s online basketball betting strength was their 6th ranked defense.  Their offense ranked only 20th.

Tim Duncan was the Spurs main online basketball betting asset as he led the team in scoring with an average of 20.8 points per game along with 10.7 rebounds per game.  The Portland Trailblazers were 33-20 straight up and 26-27 against the NBA betting lines.

Portland’s best online basketball betting role, however, is as a host as they were 16-10 against the spread in that role.  From February 4 through February 18 the Trailblazers went on an online basketball betting stretch in which they were just 1-5 against the spread, while winning just 3 of those games straight up.

They were around 3 games behind Denver in the northwest division standings.  Brandon Roy led Portland in scoring with an average of 22.8 points per game.  Portland beat San Antonio 100-99 in their last meeting on October 31 as 2.5-point home dogs.
