NBA playoffs odds will also include the Portland Trailblazers as they are considered to be a dangerous dark horse that can cause problems for anyone on their NBA playoffs schedule.

The San Antonio Spurs will host the Portland Trailblazers on Monday night with a starting time of 8:30 PM ET.  This matchup could be a preview of a Western Conference playoffs series so be sure and have your Sports Gambling account open and ready for action today.

Portland had a record of 42-30 straight up and 37-32-3 against the spread to make for a solid looking value for the NBA basketball playoffs.  Portland was 17-16-3 against the spread on the road.  The Blazers were ranked 22nd in the NBA for scoring offense but 7th in the league for scoring defense.

Portland has been successful and profitable despite numerous injury problems in the early and middle portions of their season.  LaMarcus Aldridge led Portland in scoring with 22.1 points per game and was also the team’s leading rebounder with 8.7 per outing.  Portland got the money in 7 of 10 games from March 7 through March 25.

San Antonio was 57-15 straight up and 41-29-2 against the spread.  The Spurs were not a good board value at home with just 17 payouts in 36 games as they went under the total in 20 of their games as a host.

San Antonio was also facing the prospect of being without forward Tim Duncan until early April due to an ankle issue.  Duncan must heal for the NBA playoffs betting season if the Spurs are to have a shot at going all the way.

Although Portland has dropped 2 of their last 3 matchups with the Spurs against the spread they have had solid long term success in this head to head series with 8 payouts in the last 11 matchups against the Spurs.  The Blazers and Spurs have gone under the total in 5 of the last 7 meetings in this series.

Portland was a +6500 selection at Sports-Gambling to win the NBA world championship while San Antonio was a +335 selection to win the 2011 NBA playoffs odds.
