NBA odds expectations are dropping like a rock for Utah since the departure of long time coaching legend Jerry Sloan who was run off by whining and complaining players who are not producing with the NBA betting line.

The Utah Jazz will host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night with a starting time of 9 PM ET. Sports Gambling will have side and total odds on this Western Conference matchup that has major playoff implications for the Jazz so be sure and have your account open and ready for action today.

Sacramento had an online basketball betting record of 12-16 against the spread on the road and went over the total in 16 out of their 28 away games.  The Kings were ranked 21st in the NBA for both scoring offense and scoring defense and their leading scorer, DeMarcus Cousins, had an embarrassing average of 13.8 points per game.

The hot story now is a potential move of the Kings to Anaheim as their arena is outdated and they cannot come to an agreement for a new facility.  Anaheim would love to have a second major tenant in the building with the National Hockey League’s Ducks.

Utah had a pro basketball betting record of 32-28 straight up and 26-33-1 against the spread.  The Jazz have been a poor value at home with a mark of 12-18 against the spread and 18 of their 30 home games have gone under the total.

Utah has played poorly as of late as Sloan’s departure has done nothing to improve performance and in fact the team is playing worse with just 2 payouts in 7 games from February 9 through February 26.  Adding to Utah’s problems is the fact that center Mehmet Okur is out of the lineup until early March with a back ailment.

The Jazz have slipped on both ends of the court as they ranked 14th for scoring offense and 18th for scoring defense.  Utah was falling out of playoff contention fast.

Utah has paid out in 4 of their last 7 home games against Sacramento and the two teams have combined to go under the total in 4 consecutive games with the NBA odds at Utah.
