NBA Playoffs Odds Available for First Round at Sports Gambling

NBA playoffs odds are set for the opening round as the NBA playoffs schedule begins action with four games on Saturday.

NBA playoffs odds will favor 1-seeded Cleveland from the east and the 1-seeded LA Lakers from the west but there are other strong teams listed on the NBA playoffs schedule.  The NBA playoffs odds are obviously going to be heavy on the Lakers as always.

They are the most popular team on the board with the public and blew away the rest of the western conference with a 10 game advantage.  The Lakers opener on the NBA playoffs schedule will be Sunday as they host the 8-seeded Utah Jazz.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will open their first round playoff series at home against the 8-seeded Detroit Pistons on Saturday.  LeBron James is coming off his best season ever and the Cavs were a phenomenal value all season on the board.  Cleveland will be steep chalks on the NBA playoffs odds board.

The defending world champion Boston Celtics are the 2-seed in the east and will host the 7-seeded Chicago Bulls on Saturday to begin their series.  The Celtics will be prohibitive NBA playoffs odds chalks against the upstart Bulls.

Another strong favorite against the NBA playoffs odds will be the 3-seed in the east; the Orlando Magic who will open their series against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.  Philadelphia, much like Detroit and Chicago, “limped in” to the weak eastern conference post season.

What could be the most even series on the NBA playoffs odds board starts Sunday as 4-seed Atlanta hosts 5-seed Miami in the series opener on Sunday.  The Denver Nuggets finished as the 2-seed in the west and will host the 7-seeded New Orleans Hornets beginning on Sunday.

The veteran San Antonio Spurs, 3-seed in the west, will host 6-seed Dallas as a solid chalk against the NBA playoffs odds.  Their opening game is Saturday.

Another outstanding matchup on the NBA playoffs odds board is 5-seeded Houston taking on 4-seeded Portland.  They will open on Saturday from Portland.
