Basketball Betting: Houston Rockets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Basketball betting Tuesday features a star-studded affair between Houston and Cleveland in a “can’t miss” NBA basketball betting matchup!

Basketball betting fans have their choice of Ming, McGrady, Artest and the Rockets or “King James” and the Cavaliers.  Both teams are NBA basketball betting contenders to reach the finals.  The Houston Rockets had an overall basketball betting record of 16-9 straight up and 13-12 against the basketball betting odds.

Houston was right on the tail of the New Orleans Hornets for first place in the Southwest Division standings.  The Rockets were a slightly profitable 8-6 against the spread on the basketball betting road while going over the total in an eye-catching 10 out of 14 away games.

Houston was 3-2 against the spread as a NBA basketball betting dog.  Yao Ming was the Rockets leading scorer with an average of 20 points per game.  He also led the team in rebounds with an average of 10 per game.  The Rockets basketball betting strength is their 4th ranked defense.

Houston’s offense, however, has not been the basketball betting strength that was expected as it was ranked just 16th overall in the league.  The Cleveland Cavaliers have been at a phenomenal NBA basketball betting pace to start the season.

Cleveland had an overall basketball betting record of 21-4 straight up and 20-5 against the basketball betting odds.  What makes this basketball betting performance most remarkable is the fact that Cleveland is a very “public” team on the board with the league’s most admired and popular player in Lebron James.

This leads to the theory that Cleveland cannot sustain their basketball betting pace and that a correction is right around the corner.  Cleveland, it would stand to reason, would be most expensive and least valuable on the board at home and yet they had a basketball betting record of 11-2 against the spread as a host.

The Cavaliers were an unconscious 18-3 against the board as a basketball betting favorite.  James led the team with an average of 27 points per game.  He also led in assists with an average of 6 per game.
