MLB Betting - NL Key Series of the Week

MLB betting excitement is reaching a fever pitch as the playoff race features a total of 8 legitimate baseball betting online contenders for the 4 post season spots.

MLB betting fans have tight races in all three divisions and the wild card race should be especially competitive with 5 teams in the baseball betting online race.

The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies are in a tight race in the National League East Division as the Braves held a slim 2 game lead. Atlanta hosts a slumping Washington Nationals team this week before facing the equally struggling Cubs in Chicago this weekend.

Philadelphia has a nice home stand that begins this week with San Francisco before Washington visits over the weekend.

Speaking of the San Francisco Giants they have cooled off some with the MLB odds after being on the brink of taking over first place from the San Diego Padres.

The Giants will have a tough schedule this week as after they play at Philadelphia they will travel to St. Louis for a weekend series with the Cardinals, who are in neck and neck race with the Cincinnati Reds in the National League Central.

The Reds are on a west coast swing that has them at Arizona this week against the last place Diamondbacks before a weekend series at the slumping but still contending Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers have a key showdown series this week with the visiting Colorado Rockies, who have climbed back into playoff contention. This could be an elimination series as both teams are at the bottom of the wild card race, 6 games out. Colorado will travel to Arizona after playing the Dodgers.

The San Diego Padres continue to be the most profitable team with the baseball lines and they will try and maintain their first place standing in the National League West with a series this week at the Chicago Cubs before moving on to Milwaukee for a weekend series with the Brewers.

Before hosting the Giants the Cardinals will have a home series with the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Padres had the best record in the National League while the Braves had the second best record. The Giants actually had a better MLB betting percentage than NL Central leaders St. Louis and Cincinnati.

The Braves and Phillies were the hottest teams last week with 7 wins out of 10 games.
