NFL Betting: Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots

NFL betting features an AFC East showdown between the Bills and the Patriots as the pro football betting season heats up the chill of November.

NFL betting fans will try and handicap which of these two teams is primed to bounce back as both teams are coming off tough conference losses last week.  Buffalo lost at home to their AFC East division rival Jets 17-26 as 5-point chalks against the NFL odds while the Patriots lost on Sunday Night football at Indianapolis 15-18 although they did beat the NFL odds as 6.5-point dogs.

The Patriots are without superstar quarterback Tom Brady who was knocked out for the season on opening day of the pro football betting season.  But New England is deep and well coached and tied for first in the AFC East with a mark of 5-3 straight up and 4-4 against the pro football betting odds.

The Patriots have gone over the NFL betting total just 2 out of 8 games this season.  New England, without Brady, has suffered a drop in offensive production as the Patriots are ranked 18th in the NFL betting stats on offense, while ranking 14th in the NFL betting defensive stats.

Buffalo is 5-3 straight up and 4-4 against the pro football betting line.  After beating the NFL betting odds in five of their first six games the Bills have lost two straight games against the NFL betting odds.  Buffalo is ranked 20th in the NFL betting stats for total offense while ranking 10th overall in the NFL betting defensive standings.

After posting overs against the NFL betting odds in four of their first five games the Bills have since failed to go over the NFL betting total in their last three games.  New England is a most dangerous 16-5-1 against the NFL betting line after a straight up loss.

The Patriots are a strong 15-7 against the NFL Betting line versus teams with a winning record.  The Patriots, however, have shown a steep decline in NFL betting value as they are just 4-10 against the NFL betting lines in their last 14 games.  8 of the last 9 meetings between these two teams in New England went under the NFL betting total.
