NCAA Football Betting: OSU Cowboys vs. Missouri Tigers

The points should be flying on the scoreboard in the “Show Me State” and we have all of the action covered for all the NCAA football betting fans.

Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-0, 4-0 ATS) will invade Columbia to take on the Missouri Tigers (5-0, 3-1 ATS). Kickoff from Missouri is set for 8:00 PM ET on Saturday. Missouri ranks #3 in the AP Poll, while Oklahoma State has moved up to #17. The Tigers hold a 7-2 ATS advantage over Oklahoma State since 1993.

Football betting fans had to be a bit surprised at the fact that the Cowboys had to win by more than 26 points to cover the NCAA betting line against Texas A&M last weekend. Five forced turnovers and a fantastic outing by QB Zac Robinson was enough to propel the Cowboys to a 56-28 victory.

Robinson threw three touchdowns and ran for the other two offensive touchdowns for Okie State. The OSU offense ranks 2nd in the nation in rushing yards at 314.6 per game and 6th in total yards at 530.2 yards per game.

Since only putting up 39 points against Washington State in their opening game of the season, Oklahoma State has put up at least 55 points in all of their outings. For as fantastic as the Cowboys offense has been, Missouri’s has been even better. They average the 2nd most points in the nation at 53.4 points per game.

They are third in both passing yards per game (375.6) and total yards (568.8). Last week’s victim was the Nebraska Cornhuskers. QB Chase Daniel threw for 253 yards and three scores against the Black Shirts defense. WR Jeremy Maclin accounted for 160 total yards.

It all added up to a 52-17 clobbering of the Cornhuskers in Lincoln, another ‘W’ ATS for NCAA betting backers of Missouri. They easily covered the football betting line as ten-point road favorites. Oddsmakers have installed the Tigers as 13.5-point home favorites for this Big XII clash.

The Cowboys are 10-2 towards the ‘over’ in their L/12 games in the month of October and are an even more astounding 31-14 for ‘over’ bettors in their L/45 overall Big XII games, so consider adding the ‘over’ to your football betting card this weekend.
