Sports-Gambling.com Sportsbook will have all of your football betting options available until the kickoff from Knoxville at 3:30 PM. Florida is ranked #4 in this week’s AP Poll, while the Vols are hoping that an upset of their arch rivals will propel them back into the Top-25.
There’s plenty of bad blood between these two, and Tennessee will be looking for some following last season’s 59-20 defeat in the Swamp. HC Urban Meyer and the Gators once again look like BCS contenders in 2008. After walloping Hawaii in their home opener, they collided with Miami at the Swamp two weeks ago in a nationally televised game on ESPN.
Leading by just six going into the 4th quarter, the Gators rolled off 17 unanswered points to close the game against the Canes, including a controversial decision by Meyer to kick a field goal with 0:25 remaining when the game was out of hand.
Early bettors on the Gators appreciated this, as it made the final score 26-3 Florida, and would have covered some of the early numbers. Tennessee licked their wounds from a Labor Day loss at UCLA by coming home and pounding UAB 35-3 on Saturday.
It wasn’t quite enough for football betting followers though, as the Vols were favored by 33-points per the closing NCAA betting line. There were plenty of encouraging signs for HC Phil Fulmer, most notably of which was that his offense rolled up 548 yards against the hapless Blazers.
A similar offensive effort will be needed if Tennessee is to keep up with the vaunted Gators offense this week. Oddsmakers have installed Florida as 7-point road favorites. Sports-Gambling.com has all of the NCAA football betting you can sink your teeth into.
