Preakness Wagering Top Three Contenders at Sports Gambling

Preakness wagering will feature one of the most attractive and yet unpredictable fields in the history of Preakness gambling.

Preakness wagering dynamics have completely changed after the Kentucky Derby win by Mine That Bird that flipped Preakness gambling angles upside down.  Mine That Bird enters Preakness wagering with a career record of 9 starts, 5 wins and 1 show on his Preakness gambling resume.

Mine That Bird was sired by Birdstone, who upset Smarty Jones in his bid for the Triple Crown at Belmont.  Mine That Bird built his Preakness wagering resume at Woodbine as Canada’s top two year old.  After bombing in the Breeder’s Cup juvenile at Santa Anita, Mine That Bird improved but was still inconsistent and ignored at the Kentucky Derby.

He will certainly have the full attention of Preakness wagering fans, however, after winning the Derby.  Calvin Borel will ride and is one of the hottest jockeys to enter Preakness wagering action.  Pioneer of the Nile was one of the favorites at the Kentucky Derby and figures to be popular with the Preakness wagering crowd as well.

Pioneer of the Nile commands a lot of respect in Preakness wagering due to his winning the Santa Anita Derby.  In 9 races he has 5 wins, a place, and a show.  He was sired by Empire Maker, who ruined Funny Cide’s Triple Crown bid at Belmont with a win.  He finished 2nd in the Kentucky Derby after looking like a sure thing before the stretch run.

Garret Gomez will get the mount, and he is winless in three previous Preakness rides.  Friesan Fire is yet another beaten favorite from the Kentucky Derby that will have a lot of Preakness wagering attention.  Friesan Fire has a career mark of 4 wins, 1 place, and 1 show in 7 starts.  He was sired by Belmont winner AP Indy.  Gabriel Saez will ride.

He won the Kentucky Oaks last year and road Eight Belles to a tragic second place finish in the Kentucky Derby last year.  This trio leads an excellent field and will lead what figures to be a wide open event!
