Prior to the Wood Memorial Toby’s Corner added to his Kentucky Derby bet online credentials with a with a third place showing in the Grade 3 Gotham on March 5 as another Derby contender, Stay Thirsty, was the winner.

Toby’s Corner was the winner in 3 consecutive races prior to the Gotham as he took the Whirlaway at Aqueduct on February 5.  Toby’s Corner has shown marked improvement since Castro took over as jockey in the Whirlaway.
