Breeders Cup wagering fans will have a one mile race to evaluate that will feature some of the top fillies in the world running for a Breeders Cup betting title.
The purse for the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf race is one million dollars.
Tapitsfly will be among the favorites with the Breeders Cup odds in this one. Tapitsfly is in excellent form with plenty of rest as she has not run since winning last year’s Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf in Santa Anita, which was 1 mile in length.
Prior to that Tapitsfly ran in a one mile Miss Grillo Stakes, a Grade III event at Belmont Park. Tapitsfly also scored a win in the PG Johnson Stakes at Saratoga last year. The filly has been in the money in 85% of her career starts. Dale Romans is the trainer for Tapitsfly.
Rose Catherine is another top choice that will garner plenty of attention from those betting on Breeders Cup action. Rose Catherine is an excellent form and coming off three consecutive wins. She last ran on September 25 in the Turf Amazon Handicap which was 5 furlongs in length.
On September 4 Rose Catherine won the Lena Spencer in a race that was five and a half furlong in length. Rose Catherine took the wire at the Mongo Queen, another race that was five and a half furlongs in length. On April 25 Rose Catherine finished 3rd in the Grade III Appalachian, which was 1 mile in length.
Rose Catherine began the year with a win in the six and a half furlong Sweet Life on January 24. Rose Catherine is trained by Todd Pletcher, perhaps the best in the business.
House of Grace is a filly from the famed Godolphin Racing stables that could be a significant Breeders Cup wagering factor in this one because of her training and background although the results have been less than stellar.
House of Grace is coming off a 5th place finish in the one mile Riskaverse on September 2. Prior to that House of Grace was 8th in the one and one sixteenth mile Grade II Lake George.
