Breeders Cup Odds - Ladies Classic

Breeders Cup odds excitement for Friday, November 5 will climax with Grade I betting on Breeders Cup action in the $2 million Ladies Classic on ESPN2.

Breeders Cup odds handicappers will have a race that is one and one eighth miles in length with some of the biggest betting on Breeders Cup names being involved in the event.

Acoma will enter the Ladies Classic as top points leader in the division and as one of the Breeders Cup wagering favorites with handicappers to win the race.  Acoma is trained by David Carroll and has earned over $340,000 dollars this year.

Acoma has caught the attention of horse players after her win in the Grade I Spinster, which was one and one eighth miles in length.  Alan Garcia got the mount in that win.  Acoma has been inconsistent as proven by her 7th place finish in the Grade I Beverly on August 21.

She fished 4th in her race before that on July 3 in the Grade 3 Locust Grove but finished second on the Grade III Mint Julep on June 5 and scored a win in the Grade III Cardinal last November.

Life at Ten will garner plenty of Breeders Cup betting attention as she has earnings this year of just under one million dollars and has been in the money in all 6 of her starts this year with 5 wins.  Todd Pletcher always draws betting action his way as the top trainer in the game and jockey John Velazquez is also one of the best.

Life at Ten is coming off a win in the mile and one eight Grade I Beldame on October 2.  Prior to that Life at Ten scored a show in the mile and a quarter Grade I Personal Ensign Invitational, which snapped a dominant 6 race winning streak that included a Grade I win in the Ogden Phipps Handicap.

Another Todd Pletcher trained horse, Malibu Prayer, will also be one of the top choices with the Breeders Cup odds.  Malibu Prayer is coming off a 2nd place win in the one mile and sixteenth Grade II Molly Pitcher on August 29th.

Prior to that Malibu Prayer had won 4 out of her previous 5 races including the one mile and one eighth Grade I Ruffian on August 1.  She also scored a Grade II win in the Vagrancy on May 29.
