Belmont Stakes Odds - Probable Top Contenders

Belmont Stakes odds handicappers should have an outstanding field of horses to choose from as the betting lineup could be the most talented of the spring.

Belmont Stakes odds may focus on Animal Kingdom and Shackleford but there will be other outstanding Belmont Stakes betting alternatives to make for a challenging handicap.

The Belmont Stakes will take place on Saturday, June 11 and Sports-Gambling will serve as your ultimate Belmont online stakes wagering source with all of the odds so be sure to have your account open and ready for action on the Triple Crown Series’ last leg.

Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom and Preakness Stakes winner Shackleford will of course garner plenty of Belmont Stakes handicapping respect and attention but sharp horse players may find better bargains with other attractive alternatives.

Dialed In is coming off a 4th place finish in the Preakness Stakes.  He had a disappointing 8th place finish in the Kentucky Derby.  Prior to those runs, however, Dialed In was considered a bona fide Triple Crown threat as he was the winner of the Grade 1 Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park and was also the winner of the Grade 3 Holy Bull, also at Gulfstream Park.

With hall of fame trainer Nick Zito operating on his “home track” in New York, Dialed in could prove to be an outstanding Belmont Stakes wagering value.

Mucho Macho Man is another horse that could prove to be a better value than expected after a disappointing 6th place finish in the Preakness Stakes.

Mucho Macho Man finished 3rd in the Kentucky Derby and that is what will garner him attention and some dollars with the Belmont Stakes betting odds.  Mucho Macho man proved his worth in graded stakes action with a win in the Grade 2 Risen Star this past February.

Astrology is yet another proven graded stakes horse that finished 3rd in the Preakness Stakes and is a likely Belmont Stakes favorite.  Astrology has finished in the money in all 8 of his previous starts, the last 5 of which were graded stakes runs.

Todd Pletcher trained Dance City should be another horse that garners attention and respect with the Belmont Stakes odds.  Dance City finished 5th in the Preakness Stakes and prior to that was the show horse in the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby.
