Belmont Stakes Odds - Game on Dude

Belmont Stakes odds handicapping will include what is being touted in betting circles as “The Battle of the Dudes” as Game on Dude will run on Saturday.

Belmont Stakes odds anticipation is growing for Game on Dude’s Belmont Stakes betting matchup with First Dude, the better known dude of the two horses.

Game on Dude will enter Belmont gambling action with one of the biggest names in training as hall of famer Bob Baffert will lead him out of the paddock.

Baffert is coming off a sweet win in the Preakness Stakes with Lookin at Lucky that followed a controversial jockey switch that proved Baffert’s hall of fame credentials in the end.  Jockey Martin Garcia was the winner as he mounted Lookin at Lucky.  Garcia will get the mount for Game on Dude as Lookin at Lucky will skip the Belmont Stakes.

Game on Dude has a record with the horse betting odds of 5 starts with 2 wins, 1 place, and total earnings of just over $157,000.  Game on Dude last ran on May 8 in the Lone Star Derby at Lone Star which was a Grade 3 run and finished first by 4 and one half lengths as he took the lead at the stretch and won going away.

With the long layoff and win in his last race Game on Dude is going to garner plenty of consideration with those who will handicap the Belmont Stakes odds.

Prior to the big horse racing gambling win in the Lone Star Derby, Game on Dude ran in the Grade 3 Derby Trial at Churchill Downs and finished a disappointing 5th as Hurricane Ike won the race with Aikenite in second and Pleasant Prince in third.  Game on Dude faded down the stretch.

In his only previous Grade 1 run besides this Saturday’s race with the Belmont Stakes odds Game on Dude finished a poor 7th in the Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park on March 20 as Ice Box was the winner with Pleasant Prince second and Rule third.  Ice Box will be among the favorites in the Belmont Stakes.

Game on Dude will have the top horse racing betting combination of a hot jockey and trainer but will also be up against some of the toughest competition he has faced in his career.
