Indy car betting then moves on to the Streets of Long Beach April 19 as Will Power of Team Penske will try to beat the auto racing odds there for the 2nd straight season. Indy car betting then hits the oval of the Kansas Speedway on April 26 as Dan Wheldon looks to score against the auto racing odds as he did last year at Kansas.
From there it’s the Holy Grail of Indy car betting with the Indianapolis 500 on May 24, the most highly anticipated day of all on the auto racing odds board. Scott Dixon is the defending champ but will face stiff competition as this is the “Main Event” of Indy car betting and every driver and team goes “all in” for this one.
Indy car betting resumes the tradition of the Milwaukee Mile as the following race on May 31. On June 6 Indy car betting takes place from the Texas Motor Speedway in what is always one of the most exciting events of the season.
The Iowa Speedway makes the Indy car betting circuit with a June 21 event and that is followed by the Richmond International Raceway on June 27. July 5 features Watkins Glen and then July 12 is the Honda Indy Toronto road race. July 26 Indy car betting will be from Rexall Speedway and then August 1 is from Kentucky Speedway.
August 9 features Indy car betting from the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and then Infineon Raceway on August 23. August 29 features Indy car betting action from Chicagoland Speedway and then the Indy Japan 300 is on September 19 with the season finale from Homestead-Miami Speedway on October 10.
Scott Dixon will be back on Target Chip Ganassi Racing after ranking number one in 2008. Helio Castroneves of Team Penske returns there after a second place finish in 2008. Tony Kanaan of Andretti Green Racing returns after a 3rd place ranking in 2008.
